Background: Post-stroke dysphagia is a common and expensive complication of acute stroke. The relationship between dysphagia and skeletal muscle loss (sarcopenia) has been recently highlighted. This study aimed to determine the relationship between temporal muscle thickness (TMT) measured by head magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and dysphagia in patients with acute stroke.
